Reportedly he stayed near a fresh gravesite for three weeks before he was picked up by animal control. Kind people were providing food and water but he just didn't want to leave. Now, that's devotion. Here's what his foster Mom, Erin, has to say about him: Hachi is, to the best of our knowledge, a yellow lab/ boxer mix. He is roughly 75 lbs and is one handsome dog. Hachi had a rough road so far in his life, because of this he has some deep emotional issues. He can be a bit standoffish and requires slow gentle introductions.
